Most of the teaching in my lab is on the subjects of Ecological Modelling and Spatial Statistics. Courses range from general introduction to specialized modelling techniques.

Overall, I understand modelling as a tool to study ecology and therefore all courses are based on examples from different areas of ecology.

Courses are offered at BSc (in German and English), Msc (in German), and PhD (in English) levels and are open to students from the Forestry, Agriculture, and Biology departments.

Students interested in pursuing a MSc or PhD thesis on a topic within my general research themes, should contact me. Students interested in a project involving modeling should have previous experience or take a modelling class with me.
